Netflix doc 'Challenger: The Final Flight' takes us back to NASA's darkest moment

If you were old enough to have memories in 1986, then you probably remember the Challenger explosion. Late-stage Gen X and elder Millennials especially can probably tell you where they were that fateful day when America tuned in for NASA's historic shuttle launch... only to watch it explode 73 seconds after liftoff, killing all seven crew members on board.
Executive produced by J.J. Abrams and Glen Zipper, the upcoming four-part documentary series promises to look at the "fatally flawed decision process" that led to the explosion, as well as the crew members we lost that day.
Challenger: The Final Flight comes to Netflix on Sept. 16. Read more... More about Netflix , Challenger , Entertainment , Streaming Services , and Movies Tv Shows
